Identity & access

This section is coming soon. Below is the shape of it.
Cobalt distinguishes two kinds of identity:
  • Administrators sign in to the console through your SSO provider. Everything they do is scoped to your Tenant; cross-tenant access is rejected at the data layer.
  • End users are identified per channel — a web sign-in, a Slack ID, an email address. Identity Rules map an inbound user to a known person so the agent can act on their behalf and apply the right policy.
This section will cover:
  • Identity resolution rules — matching inbound users to your directory.
  • Channel identities — linking a Slack or Teams user to a person.
  • The review queue — resolving ambiguous matches.
  • SSO and team management — administrator sign-in, roles, and directory sync.
