Channels overview

A Channel is how people reach an agent. One agent can serve several channels at once, and an agent with no channel is invisible — connecting a channel is what takes it live.

Shared settings

Some settings apply across channels. The most important is the AI disclaimer, which tells users they’re talking to an AI agent. You set the text and how often it shows:
  • Off — no disclaimer.
  • Once — on the first message of a conversation.
  • Always — on every agent message.

Test before you connect

Use the agent’s Preview to try behavior before connecting a real channel. Preview doesn’t reach employees and doesn’t count against usage.
